Unity In Diversity

Currently i am working on the third Han Litz Group album, one of the pieces will feature an orchestra of nineteen musicians and a choir. I have composed this theme in springtime last year; and due to a lot of other business last summer and fall i only recently finished writing down all the notes in the orchestration of the piece. In the new album i will continue to explore a mixture of different styles. This time i felt that digging deeper with a cross-the-board feel could bridge seemingly gaps to present Unity In Diversity. The natural syncopation which i'm fusing in all my music (improvised and composed) makes it possible to once play an 'odd metered groove' then get into a 'Brazillian Samba' or a 'funk-laden' vibe and later on dive into a 'Deep Afro' track or a 'Spiritual Jazzthing'. Oops...i almost forgot to mention the 'flamenco' influenced piece.
Now that i've composed and written all the music and recorded the demo versions, it's time to start rehearsing and playing with the HLG for a while to shake and shape up the ingredients, after that i will plan the recordings and mixing. And then the mastering and artwork will take some time, so make sure to stay in here with us :-)
In the meantime enjoy the heat of the new #flutestuff i did, and will be released this spring and summer with Diephuis (for Nulu Electronic) and Kid Sublime (for In-Between-Music).
Exciting worldwide collaborations with new #flutestuff are with Karizma (R2), Gabriele Poso (BBE), Kid Sublime (tba), Toto Chiavetta (Innervisions).
In the studio pipeline there's recording going on with Alexander Lay-Far (tba), N'Dinga Gaba (Global Diplomacy), Gerd (4Lux) and last but not least Andy Compton & Han Litz 'Use The 3rd Eye' (2016) album will get some remix love on a new EP.

Enjoy the summer and looking forward to see you soon at the beach club or in the city for some live #flutestuff !

cheers & love

Han Litz
